Pacifica sits right on the ocean, and the salt air here is a real factor for outdoor HVAC equipment, not a marketing line. Condenser coils, cabinet screws, and electrical contacts on outdoor units corrode faster in Rockaway Beach, Sharp Park, and Linda Mar than they do even a few miles inland in Daly City. York holds up reasonably well against that if the equipment gets rinsed and checked on a normal schedule, but nothing sold as HVAC equipment is actually salt proof.
