What we do

Six core services for homeowners and small commercial across 39 Bay Area cities. Every job, repair or install, runs the same way: $75 on-site diagnostic (credited toward any repair over $200), written estimate the same day, no verbal-only quotes, no high-pressure scripts. We are factory-trained on Daikin and Goodman, and service fourteen-plus brands including Carrier, Lennox, Trane, Mitsubishi, and Bosch.

For real estate professionals and property managers with portfolio needs, see B2B priority service: same crew, NET-30 invoicing, owner-direct contact.

Free sizing calculators

Before you ask for an estimate, run the numbers yourself. We built two free Manual-J-style sizing tools that take your home dimensions, climate zone, and equipment type and return a sized recommendation in seconds. No email gate, no lead capture. The tools are the same logic we use to size your install.

  • Free HVAC Load Calculator. Whole-home Manual J Lite sizing for central AC, furnaces, and ducted heat pumps. CZ3/CZ4/CZ12 design temps built in.
  • Free Mini-Split Calculator. Per-zone ductless sizing with multi-head capacity math. Includes Bay Area BAAQMD Rule 9-4 context.

Why people pick us

Owner-led, owner-accountable. Andrew Kuznetsov signs off on every estimate before it reaches you, and on every job and warranty after. Our trained technicians handle the on-site work, with Andrew's license number on the invoice and his name on the warranty.

Honest diagnostic pricing. $75 to come out, identify the problem, and quote it in writing. Credited toward any repair over $200. We will not invent emergencies; if the answer is “your system is fine, here are the logs, call us next year,” that is what the estimate will say.

Factory-trained on Daikin and Goodman. Andrew completed factory training at the Daikin/Goodman plant in Houston in 2025: a 16,000-employee Texas facility that stands behind every heat pump we install. Faster warranty claims, better parts access, direct manufacturer relationship.

10-year parts plus 10-year labor warranty. On most new installations. The labor warranty requires keeping the equipment on a bi-annual maintenance plan; keeping it serviced is what keeps the coverage in force.

Family-run. My wife handles the back office, I am in the field. We work with a small consistent crew of four under our insurance and our license. When something goes wrong, the responsibility lands on me, not a call center.

Came out to fix my furnace and I couldn’t be happier with the level of service. Arrived quickly, the technician was friendly, and my problem was fixed in no time. Highly recommend.

About the work

The nonprofit half of what we do begins where the for-profit half ends. Every HVAC install routes the old, working equipment to Tech Aid for Refugees: a 501(c)(3) we founded in September 2023 to help newly-arrived refugee families furnish their first American homes. You get a tax-deductible receipt; the equipment gets a second life. Read about how we got here, or the Pleasanton Chamber Business Spotlight from May 2026.

Questions homeowners ask us

What Bay Area cities do you serve?

We serve 39 cities across the Bay Area: Tri-Valley (Danville, San Ramon, Alamo, Blackhawk, Dublin, Pleasanton, Lafayette, Walnut Creek, Livermore, Moraga, Orinda), Diablo Valley (Concord, Martinez, Pleasant Hill), Inner East Bay (Berkeley, Oakland, Richmond, San Leandro, Hayward, Castro Valley, Fremont, Union City, Newark, Alameda, Piedmont), and South Bay & Peninsula (San Jose, Santa Clara, Cupertino, Los Gatos, Saratoga, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Menlo Park, Atherton, Hillsborough, Milpitas). Our shop is in San Ramon.

How much does a diagnostic visit cost?

$75, credited toward any repair over $200. We arrive in a marked van, identify the problem, explain what we found, and quote in writing before any work begins. No surprise charges.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. California Contractor License CSLB #1136642 (Andrew Kuznetsov personally passed the exam in 2022), EPA Section 608 certified for refrigerant handling, and factory-trained at the Daikin/Goodman manufacturing plant in Houston, TX (2025). Fully insured for residential and small commercial work.

What warranty do you offer on installations?

10-year parts and labor warranty on installs: 10-year manufacturer parts plus 10-year labor on package units and most equipment categories. The labor warranty requires keeping the equipment on a bi-annual maintenance plan; keeping it serviced is what keeps the coverage in force.

Do you install heat pumps?

Yes. Heat pump installation is one of our primary services. We're factory-trained on Daikin/Goodman and an MCE Participating Contractor. We work with BayREN, MCE, PG&E, EBCE/Ava in Alameda County, and manufacturer instant rebate programs. Federal Section 25C expired December 31, 2025 and Tech Clean California closed November 14, 2025; we don't quote either. We confirm what's currently paying when we write your estimate.

Can you do same-day service?

We don't promise same-day across the board. That's how shops over-promise and then disappoint. We give you a real arrival window when you call. Many service calls do happen same-day when our team is local to your area; full installs are scheduled 3–10 days out depending on equipment lead time and permit coordination.

Do you handle BAAQMD compliance and permits?

Yes. We pull mechanical permits ourselves, file BAAQMD Rule 9-4 Ultra Low NOx compliance documentation when required (most furnaces and packaged-units installed in 2026), and complete Title 24 energy documentation. You don't deal with the city; we do.

What brands do you service and install?

We're factory-trained on Daikin and Goodman. We routinely service and install 14+ brands: Carrier, Lennox, Trane, Bryant, Rheem, Mitsubishi, Fujitsu, Bosch, LG, York, American Standard, Heil, Coleman, and Cooper & Hunter. If your existing equipment is a brand we don't carry, we still service it.
