Samsung in East Palo Alto
Most of East Palo Alto's housing is flat, single-story ranch homes from the 1950s and 60s, built the way a lot of the Bay Area was back then, a wall or floor furnace for heat and no ductwork at all. Cooling was whatever window unit the owner added later, if any. Newer construction going in along Bay Road tends to have modern panels already, so that conversation is shorter there.
