Does a new Carrier install come with a warranty?

Our new installs carry a 10-year parts and 10-year labor (2 yr standard, 10 yr with our maintenance plan) warranty. Repairs are warrantied one year. The $99 diagnostic is credited toward the repair.

My old Carrier still runs. Is it worth repairing or should I replace it?

Depends on the failure and the rest of the system. A capacitor on an otherwise sound unit is an easy repair. A compressor or a refrigerant leak on a 20-plus-year Carrier usually points to replacement. We give you both numbers in writing and the honest recommendation, and we do not push a sale you don't need yet.

Should I fix my ducts or just buy a better Carrier system?

Often the ducts first. A premium Carrier system feeding leaky ducts wastes the efficiency you paid for. We test the ducts at the estimate and lay out which spend, sealing or equipment, gives you the faster payback for your house.

What does it cost to have a Carrier furnace diagnosed?
