Gree is one of the largest HVAC manufacturers in the world, and a lot of equipment sold under other names comes out of its plants. The units we install under the Gree label are its own value ductless mini-splits. They sit a tier below Mitsubishi and Daikin on price, and that tradeoff is honest: you give up some cold-climate low-temperature performance and the longest dealer-network track record, and in return you pay less for a system that heats and cools a single room or addition well.

That positioning fits a real Martinez problem. The older homes near downtown and along Alhambra Avenue often have no existing ductwork. Tearing into plaster walls to run ducts is expensive and messy, so a ductless head per room is frequently the right call.
