Gree mini split flare repair and refrigerant recharge in Concord
Problem: The repair on this Gree mini split in Concord was at the two flare connections, where the refrigerant lines meet the outdoor unit.
Solution: We recovered all of the existing refrigerant and rebuilt both flare connections with new flare nuts. We pressure tested the system with nitrogen, then evacuated it and recharged it with 9.3 lb of new R-410A. The outdoor coil was cleaned during the same visit.
Result: We finished with a system performance check and put the unit’s panels back on.
