We install and service Daikin across the Bay Area. Diagnostic is $99, credited toward any repair, with a written estimate before any work starts. New installs carry a 10-year parts warranty plus a labor warranty (2 years standard, extended to 10 years with our maintenance plan).

Daikin: common questions

If my system is still under its original warranty, can you still service the Daikin?
Yes. We are factory-trained on Daikin and have dealer parts access, so we can diagnose and file warranty claims on equipment still inside its original coverage. We tell you what the manufacturer covers before we do billable work.

Why would I downsize tonnage if the bigger unit cooled fine?
An oversized system cools fast then shuts off, which leaves humidity behind and wears parts through constant cycling. A correctly sized Daikin inverter runs longer at part-load and holds the temperature steadier on less power. We show the load calculation on the estimate so the size is not a guess.

Should I install Daikin if my neighbors all have Goodman or Carrier?
It depends on your goals, not your neighbors. Daikin's inverter heat pump is a real upgrade for heavy AC users who stay put, while matching your existing Goodman or Carrier can be the cheaper, simpler call. Goodman also shares Daikin's parent company, so it is the same family for less. We quote your options straight.

Does a Daikin heat pump help during a PG&E shutoff?
It can be part of the answer, but the heat pump alone does not run without power. What actually gets you through a shutoff is the heat pump paired with battery storage or a generator sized for the compressor's startup load. We size that combination based on the home rather than assuming one standard package covers every property.
