Check the filter and open airflow

Look at the air filter only when it is in a normal, accessible location. Record whether it is visibly blocked or loaded with dust. A restricted filter can reduce airflow and contribute to poor cooling or a frozen indoor coil. Replace it only with the type and procedure allowed by the equipment instructions.
