We install and service Tempstar across the Bay Area. Diagnostic is $99, credited toward any repair, with a written estimate before any work starts. New installs carry a 10-year parts warranty plus a labor warranty (2 years standard, extended to 10 years with our maintenance plan).

What does the $99 diagnostic actually cover?
It covers a tech coming out, testing the system, and telling you exactly what's wrong in writing. If you book the repair with us, that $99 is credited toward the repair. We don't guess at a price over the phone, the number comes after we've actually looked at the equipment.

Should I spend on the equipment or fix my ducts first?
We test the ducts before recommending anything. If they leak badly, sealing or a retrofit can pay back faster than a higher-efficiency unit, and putting new equipment on leaky ducts wastes the upgrade. New Tempstar installs carry a 10-year parts warranty, with labor at 2 years standard (10 years on our maintenance plan); the $99 diagnostic is credited toward the repair.
